I hold a bachelors of science degree in nursing with over 10 years of clinical experience. I began my career at Boston Children's Hospital, specializing in pediatric neuroscience nursing. Currently, I am practicing as a visiting nurse, providing in-home care specializing in pediatrics, maternal/child health, and lactation services.
Besides being a nurse, I am a wife to a super supportive husband, mom of two young, adventurous boys that always keep me on my toes, and a "mom" to a lovable dog, Jack and 9 spoiled chickens.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, biking, gardening, and traveling.
"My advice to any new mom struggling to breastfeed is to not wait to reach out for help. You are not a failure if you’re having difficulty feeding your baby. Just try your best and use every resource you can. For me, my best resource was Heidi and I know she has only gained more knowledge since becoming a certified lactation consultant and starting Tiny Sprouts Lactation Services. Please give her a try and she will surely make a difference for you and your baby!"

"My son was born 6 weeks premature and was in the NICU for a month after he was born. He was not strong enough to nurse at the beginning and went from being tube fed to being bottle fed (because that is what the hospital required to get him home).
I worked with visiting nurses, lactation specialists, and my sons pediatrician, with no luck getting him to latch or nurse. When I connected with Heidi Creighton she was very understanding and very patient with my questions and struggles. She gave me a ton of good advice, answered a ton of questions, and was always available for a question or a home visit. My son finally started nursing at 3 months old and has been going strong ever since.
I credit Heidi and her knowledge and support for helping my son reach this important milestone in development and this amazing bonding experience. I would highly recommend Heidi to any new mom that needs some support!"

"I was having significant issues breastfeeding my 3 week old daughter. I reached out to Heidi Creighton IBCLC and she came to my house within 24 hours. She gave me the encouragement and support I needed. My daughter was tongue tied and not diagnosed until almost 3 weeks old. Again, Heidi walked me how to property latch and stayed until I finished nursing. If you're looking for a lactation specialist especially that comes to your home, Heidi is your girl. I can't thank her enough."
